12 tags of christmas, tag 11

On today's tag Tim used UTEE and the meltingpot. I don't have the meltingpot but UTEE i have since i followed his class in September. So i take the schrink foil of my son, my Utee and the heattool and made the holly leafs. I colored them with alcohol ink meadow, bottle and oregano. Behind the leafs i used white acrylic paint. The colors from Santa i used are Distress ink walnut stain and festive berries. For the words i use distress ink evrgreen bough and mustard seed and it is so nice to see when you heat it the colors change a little bit. The tag i colored with distress ink tumbled glass, broken china and faded jeans. Everything is stamped on chromolux glossy paper. The twigs are from my own garden. Then some ribbon and finished is tag 11.
One more tag to go tomorrow.

Vandaag heeft tim de meltingpot gebruikt om krimpy dinky te laten krimpen en te bewerken met utee. Aangezien ik geen melting pot heb heb ik gebruik gemaakt van mijn heatgun. eerst de krimpy dinky laten krimpen, toen 2 keer bewerkt met utee en daarna ingekleurd met alcohol ink. Verder mijn distress ink gebruikt, wat stempels, lint en alles op chromolux papier.
Helaas is morgen de laatste tag.

Today Tim made a tag with a new technique for me but it was easy to do. For the tag i used music paper that i made old with distress ink vintage photo. On the tag i stamped and embossed holly leafs with distress ink pine needles and transparant embossing powder.  The fragments i made with paper from Graphic 45 and metallic tape. The banner is made with a stamp and distress ink antique linen, the letters are from Marianne design and i have them for years. I finished with 2 very old christmas balls (at least 50 years) and some ribbon.

voor de tag van vandaag gebruikte Tim een voor mij nieuwe techniek, alhoewel nieuw niet maar de manier erop wel. En ik moet zeggen om de fragments te maken is de techniek van Tim veel makkelijker. Ik vond het dan ook ontzettend leuk om de 10e tag te maken. Helaas nog maar 2 te gaan.

The tags of today where again very nice, I love the tag of Ted so i make that one antoher time. Today i made Tims tag. For the candleholder i used (don't laugh) a chipboard castle and for the candle i used a chipboard 1. That with a blingbling makes mines.

 

Vandaag waren er weer geweldige tags op Tim's blog. Vooral die van Ted vond ik erg mooi dus die ga ik zeker nog een keer maken. Maar vandaag toch echt de tag van Tim gemaakt. Voor de kandelaar heb ik een ( lach niet ) chipboard kasteel gebruikt en een chipboard 1 samen met een blingbling steentje. Je moet wat als je niet alle dies hebt. Verder gewoon de instructies gevolgd en toen was de tag klaar. Op naar nr. 10.

Today Tim made again an awesome tag. I didn't have the stamps and the filmstrip so i was looking for an alternative. For this tag i used: 2 plastic lightbulbs, 2 tickets, on 1 ticket i used a rubon, chipboard gears and clock, for the filmstrip i used plastic sheet with a filmstrip stamp from Tim, 1 anchor brad, ribbon, the 25 is also a brad from making memories, a pen nib, some stamps from my own stash and Santa because i didn't have the stamp steampunk guys.

 

Voor de tag van vandaag ben ik op zoek gegaan naar alternatieven omdat ik niet alle stempels heb van Tim. De hand op de kleine tag is een rubon, de filmstrip heb ik gemaakt van plastic sheet en een stempel van een filmstrip, de pijl is een brad net als de 25. In plaats van de 3 mannenstempel heb ik een plaatje van de kerstman gebruikt.

I was so happy to see that today Tim used glassine paper. I bought it in september after a class I followed in Holland with Tim as teacher and since then i love that paper. For this tag i used Distress Stain walnut, fired brick and a background stamp with christmastree's. The glassine paper i colored with alcohol ink oregano, gold, meadow and bottle, i distressed it with vintage photo. I don't have the holly leaf die so i used mine old coluzzle. For the twigs i used chipboard swirls that i colored gold woth folkart, the snow i make with scribbles and glitter glue. Thanks for watching again.

Vanochtend was ik erg blij dat Tim bij de tag Glassine papier gebruikte, daar hoopte ik nl op. Sinds de workshop die ik in september van hem kreeg ben ik gek op dat papier, gebruik het alleen te weinig. Verder had ik natuurlijk de takjes en hulstblad die niet dus heb ik gebruik gemaakt van 2 chipboard swirls en mijn oude vertrouwde coluzlle mallen.

This morning i made tag 6. For this tag i used red metal foil, some acrylic paint, a metal christmas tree that i paint a little bit green and some ribbon. It was the first time that i made a tag with this metal foil.

 

Voor de 6e tag heb ik voor het eerst gebruik gemaakt van metaalfolie. Eigenlijk best leuk spul om mee te werken. Verder heb ik gebruik gemaakt van acryl verf, lint en een metalen kerstboom waar ik wat groene verf op heb gesmeerd.



Winnaar

Helemaal vergeten in mijn vorige beichtje te vermelden. In het bericht van Tim bij tag 5 ben ik uitgekozen als een van de gelukkige winnaars van een prijs. Wat de prijs is weet ik niet maar vind het wel een super eer om gekozen te zijn uit alle commentaren (2986 stuks) op zijn blog.
